Recovery

If you have fainted after you hit your funny bone (ulnar nerve), here are a few suggestions of what you can do to help with your recovery.  Pick and choose what is relevant to you:

1.  Put ice on your elbow.  If your elbow still feels sore, you may need to see a doctor.

2.  Put ice on your forehead if you feel warm.

3.  Sip some water.  Not too much, because you may feel sick.

4.  Lay down.  Keep your activity low-key for a couple of hours.  You will most likely feel nauseated, exhausted and light-headed for awhile.

5.  If anyone was around when the incident occurred, find out what happened when you were "out".

6.  Don't feel embarrassed.  There was nothing you could have done to prevent it.  This is not a common occurrence, but you are definitely not alone.

7.  Have a good night's sleep and feel better the next day!
